Buying Grenada real estate means you get to take part in the rich history of our island. One thing we're known for is spices. Grenada is also referred to as 'Isle of Spice' because of our many spice exports.

Grenada produces cinnamon, cloves, ginger, mace, allspice and twenty percent of the world's nutmeg supply.

In fact, we produce so much nutmeg it is featured on our flag.

Spice up your life and contact Coldwell Banker Grenada about owning a piece of the Isle of Spice.

We’ve all heard the phrase ‘a fly in the ointment’. Here in Grenada we’ve just had a mosquito in paradise. Grenada is a gorgeous island but the arrival of Chikungunya did take a little of the gloss of that. It seems that just about everybody has had it to one degree or another. It varied in strength from person to person but nobody enjoyed it. We’re now left with the residual effects of aching joints that, when in the fingers as is common, can seriously hamper the removal of a bottle top. Not good!

There is good news though. Everybody has had it and you can’t get it twice. That means there’s nowhere for the mosquitos to pick it up from and so there shouldn’t be any amount of new infection. Full gloss paradise is back.

We all know the banker jokes and we all believe that at least some of them are well deserved. It seems that Grenada is going to get the 41st Conference of the Caribbean Association of Banks Inc. in Nov which means 250 bankers!

Jokes should be put aside! Anybody involved in property in Grenada, or anywhere else, should welcome this and hope that the banks can get back to supporting the communities they serve by lubricating the money-go-round. Everybody will win when that happens!

Coldwell Banker always strives to deliver the highest standards of professionalism ourselves and we support the efforts of others towards that end. It all goes to help provide the services people are entitled to respect.

Accordingly we were delighted when a study of the Caribbean by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) concluded that Valuers should be registered. Credible, accurate and reliable valuations are a cornerstone of the property world. Here in Grenada there is often wide gap between a vendor’s idea of what their property is worth and a purchaser’s view of the same. Inarguable valuations help everybody. Registration? Bring it on. Coldwell Banker will be there.
